NorthStar Paddle League

New - Summer 2024 - Youth Kayak League on Lake Phalen

  • Twin Cities Paddlesports, Endurance United, and The Loppet Foundation formed the NorthStar Paddle League
  • Entry-level sprint kayaking for kids ages 10-14.
  • June 17 to August 10, with practice and races.

Cost: $300

No prior paddle experience is necessary. We have Boats, Paddles, and Personal Floating Devices.

Practice Sessions

Races Days

  • June 17 to August 10
  • We have 2 x kayaking sessions per week
  • (except the week of the 4th of July)
  • Each practice is about 90 min long
  • Practice Times: Tues + Thurs, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
  • 2 x Racing Events (7/13 and 8/10)
  • (Saturday mornings)
  • Each racing event is about 2 hrs long
